Janesboro4-8 CoonaghWe had an awful start to this 4-0 down within 6 minutes but we started to rally five minutes before the break a great free kick from Cameron o Grady coonagh broke again and scored Shane Franklin scored a lovely a goal just on half time to make it 5-2 . Second half and changes were made man of the match Jamie Tully came on and sured up at the back .Andrew power came on set up Josh Grady and within a minute we scored a minute later Josh struck again now it was game on at 6-4 there keeper pulled off 3 brilliant saves we struck post twice .The lads went for it and got caught twice in dying minutes.

Coonagh responded to McInerneys regular forays in behind by switching Martin to right-back at half-time, with Peter Hodnett introduced from the bench in the holding role, and Martins impact in his new position was immediate; first executing a crucial sliding block to deny Conor Laffans effort, and then playing the simple ball over the top that McKevitt snaffled with a left-footed finish to cap a marvelous individual performance.

Josh O Grady got back to goal scoring form when he bagged 2 fine goals also the usual suspects Callum O Connell and Shane Franklin, both familiar names of late on the score sheet. In a thrill a minute game with a magnificent second half display from the BORO BOYS , Kyle Molloy was the star of the show when he bagged himself a spectacular second half hat-trick, 3 goals of real quality including another free kick.

Lee Estate was on the cards last Monday in what we knew was going to be tough game against a very strong Star Rovers side. Due to illness of our usual keeper we were forced to use Kyle Molloy for the first half and Cameron O Grady for the second half, great stuff from both lads, Cameron pulled off some very important saves and it could have been a different game without him. Our squad on the day consisted of Kyle Molloy, Shay Quigley, Cameron O Grady, Callum O Connell, Ger Daly, Dessie Collins, Shane Franklin, Scott Mc Grath, Patrick Phelan, Josh O Grady and under 8 player Chad Molloy who had been called up after some impressive performances in the small sided games of late.

Now trailing, their cause wasnt helped when panic onthe sideline prompted a whole host of positional changes, including Buston to centre-back, Kirrane to left-back, Barry Roche to left-wing, and McInerney joining Conor Laffan up top. By that point, the game was looking pretty stretched, with many of Crooms makeshift eleven unable or unwilling to track back in the defensive phase.
